Credit System

How are credits calculated on the user side?

At Syntina, credit is the usage unit that lets you manage generation workflows from a single balance. Text to Image, Image to Image and Image to Video modes all use the same logic — but not every model, and not every setting, consumes the same amount. This page covers only the system visible to users; internal cost or infrastructure pricing isn't part of it.

How It's Calculated

Overview and consumption factors

Read mechanics like plan credit, extra credit, and the pre-generation credit display alongside the variables that drive consumption — model choice, output count, video duration, resolution and team usage — in a single table. The credit amount required is always shown in the interface before generation starts.

TopicExplanationWhat you see
Monthly plan creditYour subscription plan defines a set credit volume every month. All generation modes run on this same balance. You can see your monthly credit volume on the pricing and account pages.
Extra creditYou can purchase additional credit on top of your monthly package. This lets you scale up your generation volume without changing plans.Extra credit packages appear separately on the subscription screen.
Pre-generation credit displayThe credit amount required is calculated before generation starts, based on the model and settings you chose. The required credit amount is shown on the Generate button or in the relevant settings panel.
Insufficient balanceIf your balance isn't enough for the selected generation, it won't start; you'll need to update your plan or credit balance first. The interface clearly shows the required credit alongside your current balance.
Team poolOn Business plans and above, members generate from a shared credit pool. The shared pool and each member's usage can be tracked separately in the team area.
Model choiceAll modesFaster models and premium-quality models don't run at the same credit level.
Output countText to Image, Image to ImageThe more variations you request in a single run, the higher the total credit usage.
Video durationImage to VideoA short test video and an 8-12 second final video don't consume the same amount.
ResolutionImage to Video, some image edit workflowsHigher resolution can require more credit.
Team usageBusiness, Studio, Studio+Members' generations are deducted from the shared credit pool; there's no separate per-person wallet.

Model-Based Consumption

Which model costs how many credits, under which conditions?

The table below shows the starting or common credit values users see per model. When you choose more images at once, a longer video, audio, a higher resolution, or a larger output size, the total credit required increases accordingly.

CategoryModelCreditsConditions
Text to ImageGPT Image 22-40 credits / imageRises with quality and image size. 2 credits for low quality 1024x1024, up to 40 credits for high quality 1536x1024 or 1024x1536.

Workflows

Credit logic by generation type

The easiest way to read your credit usage is to think of it in terms of workflow. Even within the same model family, needs change as settings change.

WorkflowTypical useBiggest driver of consumption
Text to ImageGenerating a brand-new mood, concept, exterior or interior variation from scratch. Most affected by model choice and output count.
Image to ImageTransforming an existing render, sketch, reference or viewport capture. Most affected by model choice, output count, and in some workflows, resolution.
Image to VideoAnimating a single frame, adding a presentation camera flow, or generating a first-to-last-frame transition. Most affected by duration, resolution, and model family.

For team plans: On team plans, members share a common credit pool. Admins and team owners can track how much credit each member has spent from the panel. As the plan tier goes up, both credit volume and seat capacity increase.
